The great white shark is common in the waters of the Eastern Pacific and western coast of North America.  It is suspected that these predators begin their lives in Sebastian Vizcaino Bay in northwestern Mexico.  Satellite tagging has found these toothy travelers take a seasonal journey chasing their most bountiful food sources. The great white shark ventures between feeding grounds off coastal California where they feed on seals that provide them with energy stores for their journey to the deeper waters near the White Shark Cafe, where they take advantage of the seasonal feast of fish and other open ocean species.
